God removes obstacles while rebuilding

Ezekiel 36:33–36
Life is filled with obstacles — mistakes, failures, oppositions, and unseen forces that attempt to hinder us from moving forward. But here is the assurance of the word of God: before God begins His building work in your life, He first removes every ruin, debris, or hindrance standing in the way.
God never builds on confusion or brokenness without first making room. He clears the old to make way for the new. Past mistakes, regrets, and pain may try to hold you back. Many times, it is the weight of past errors and painful experiences that keeps us from embracing His fresh blessings. Yet God declares:
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” (Isaiah 43:18–19)
Whether you are ready or not, God’s plan is to do something new in your life, and He is starting now. The question is, will you trust Him enough to let go of the past and allow Him to work?
Here are four truths to hold on to as God removes obstacles and begins to build in your life:
-
-
God Silences Opposition
Isaiah 54:17 reminds us that “no weapon formed against you shall prosper.” You don’t need to run from pillar to post in fear. If God is on your side, your enemies are already in trouble. Stop stressing unnecessarily. Your wisdom, knowledge, and strength can never match the power of God. Doubt arises when we forget who we serve, but when you know the Lord your God, you can rest in His victory.
-
God Strengthens His People for the Task
God never calls you to a purpose without giving you the strength to fulfill it. Every person has a divine assignment on earth, and God equips us for it. Haggai 2:4 urges us to “be strong, for I am with you.” As long as you are alive, your purpose still stands.
The Israelites struggled with disobedience, and even Moses was hindered by their rebellion despite his intercession for God not to destroy them. That shows why you need God’s help and strength, not just willpower to fulfill your divine assignment. -
Restoration Requires Spiritual Stamina
God’s restoration isn’t automatic; it requires consistency, discipline and obedience. Don’t wait for others to push you into walking with God. Build spiritual stamina through prayer, study, and daily obedience. The stronger your walk with God, the more capacity you have to carry His restoration in your life.
-
God Exposes and Defeats Hidden Enemies (Isaiah 41:10–11; Psalm 18:44–45)
When God is at work, He does not allow hidden enemies to remain in the shadows. He exposes every opposition and brings them to defeat. Isaiah 41 reminds us: “Do not fear, for I am with you… Those who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced.” No secret plan of the enemy can stop God’s rebuilding project in your life.
-
Today, I decree and declare that every sin that once took away God’s mercy is forgiven through the blood of Jesus. May every obstacle be removed and every promise fulfilled in your life in Jesus name.
As Ezekiel 36:36 says: “Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the Lord have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate” “…I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.”
He promised and He will do it. Just trust in the Lord and follow his principles.
May God restore and fulfill everything He has promised concerning you in Jesus name. Amen.
