God Builds To Testify Of His Faithfulness

The ultimate purpose of rebuilding is to reveal God’s power and love to the world.
I recall a moment in our journey as a church. A young man came for prayer and counselling. During our conversation, the Lord asked him to make a donation, an amount that seemed outrageous at the time. To my surprise, he did not hesitate, he obeyed with a genuine and willing heart. But before he left, the Lord instructed me to call him back. I told him it was a test. Because he never doubted, the Lord promised to grant his heart’s desire. Today, that young man is established overseas, a living testimony of God’s faithfulness.
This is how God works. What people often see is the testimony—the success, the breakthrough, the answered prayer. But what they don’t see are the hidden events, the tests, the waiting seasons, and the obedience that lead to the miracle.
Let’s draw four lessons about God’s faithfulness in rebuilding:
-
Restoration Brings Glory to God
Isaiah 60:21; People will see and know that the Lord has done it. When God restores, it is for His glory. He makes your life a testimony so that others will know what the Lord has done. Wait patiently for the Lord, He will do what He promised.
-
Your Testimony Will Encourage Others
Psalm 40:1-3; Your rebuilt life will inspire faith in others. Your story of restoration is a witness to both unbelievers and even believers losing hope that God is faithful.
-
God’s Name is Exalted Through Restoration
Psalm 126:2-3; People will marvel at His goodness. Every gift we get from the Lord is for the glory of His name. Those He uplifts cannot glorify themselves, for all honour belongs to Him alone.
-
Rebuilding Strengthens the Believer’s Faith
Romans 4:20-21; You will be more rooted in His promises. Every restoration season is also a refining season. This rebuilding process will make your root deeper in His promises.
In conclusion brethren, nothing is too broken for God to rebuild. Whether it is a life, a ministry, a dream, or a city, He has the power to restore and make it new again. His rebuilding work is perfect. He removes the old, lays a strong foundation, and fills the new with greater glory than the former. If you are in a season where all you see are ruins, take heart. God is already at work behind the scenes, gathering resources, stirring hearts, and preparing the day when you will see the beauty of what He has built in place of what was destroyed.
