Introduction
God is not looking for a noisy generation; He is looking for an obedient one. A generation that does not move by pressure, trends, or fear, but moves at God’s command. We are in an era where many claims to be led by the spirit of God but do not really listen to him. I tell you this is nothing but deception.
Explanation
The Bible says, “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14).
Sonship is proven by obedience. Heaven does not respond to age, title, or ambition, heaven responds to alignment.
When God said to Abraham, “Get thee out of thy country” (Genesis 12:1), Abraham did not argue. He moved, and destiny opened. When Israel moved only when the cloud moved, they were preserved (Exodus 13:21). But whenever they moved without God, they suffered loss.
This generation must learn to wait for God’s signal. Not every open door is God’s door. Not every opportunity is divine. Speed without God leads to destruction, but obedience brings preservation and promotion.
Jesus Himself said, “I do nothing of myself, but as my Father hath taught me” (John 8:28). If the Son of God waited for instructions, how much more must we?
God is raising a people who will not run ahead of Him, and will not lag behind Him, a people who move when He says move, stop when He says stop, and speak when He says speak.
Beloved, when you move at God’s command, you may look slow to men, but you will be right on time in destiny. And when God commands your movement, provision follows, protection follows, and power follows.
Prayer:
Father, make me part of the generation that hears You clearly and obeys You completely. I refuse to move by pressure or fear. I choose to move only at Your command. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Go and live as a generation that moves when God speaks.
