I Will Sit with Kings
Introduction
Beloved, “I will sit with kings” is not just a confession, it is a prophetic promise. God does not lift men by accident. When heaven speaks elevation, earth must comply. Before men applaud you, God must announce you.
Kingship is not first about a throne; it is about divine placement, authority, honour, and influence. Our God is a God of levels, and He created His children to reign in life.
Explanation
- Kingship begins in God’s mind
Jeremiah 29:11 says God already has thoughts of peace and a future for you. Before you ever imagined greatness, God planned it. Genesis 1:26 says, “Let them have dominion.” Dominion is royal language. You were designed to rule. Redemption restored what sin tried to destroy. - God is the one who invites men up
Proverbs 25:7 says, “Come up hither.”
You don’t force elevation, you are invited into it. When God calls a man up, no man can push him down. Self-promotion brings shame, but divine promotion brings honour. - From obscurity to royalty
Psalm 113:7–8 says God lifts the poor from the dust to sit with princes.
Where you are now is not where you will end. Dust is not your destiny. God specialises in lifting the humble and silencing the proud. - Kingship is spiritual before physical
Revelation 1:6 says God has made us kings and priests.
You don’t become a king when you meet rulers, you meet rulers because you are already a king in Christ. Heaven must recognise you before earth responds to you.
Prayer
- Father, by Your divine plan, I receive the call to elevation.
- Every limiting mindset is broken.
- I step into my ordained place of honor.
- I hear Your voice saying, “Come up hither.”
- I will sit with kings, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
