Dear beloved,
Today, I come not to preach but to share with you the profound promises that the Lord has bestowed upon each one of us. These promises are not fleeting, like those of man, but are rooted in the timeless truths found in the scriptures. Sin, with its insidious forms of pride, disobedience, and arrogance, can cast a shadow on God’s promises. It is a stark reminder that the promises of man can falter, but the promises of God stand unwavering.
Let us delve into these sacred promises that the Lord has graciously bestowed upon us:
- Ever-Present Divine Guidance: The Lord’s unwavering presence is with us always. His watchful eyes are upon us, guiding and guarding our every step. Exodus 33:14.
- Covenant of Peace: For those who diligently wait on the Lord, a cascade of blessings, kindness, and an unbreakable covenant of peace shall forever remain with them. Isaiah 54:10
- Deliverance: When we find ourselves navigating through turbulent waters and enduring the fires of life, take solace in knowing that the Lord is our savior, ready to deliver us from all trials. Isaiah 43:2.
- Divine Assurance: The Lord assures us of His constant presence, regardless of our location. He will not forsake us as we journey through the diverse landscapes of life. Genesis 28:15.
- Overcoming Challenges: Fear not, for as long as we stand with the Lord, He will empower us to overcome challenges and triumph over obstacles. Deuteronomy 20:1, Joshua 1-7.
- Eternal Home: Heaven awaits as our final destination. Christ, our saviour, has gone ahead to prepare a place for us. He will return to personally usher us to our eternal abode.
You are called to be a living example often devoid of love for the children of God. I implore you to reflect upon your relationship with Christ. Have you accepted Him into your life? It is imperative to ask yourself: Do you know Christ? The best time to embrace Christ was yesterday, today is the opportune moment, for tomorrow may be too late.
May the promises of our Lord be the guiding light on our journey, and may we, as believers, be living testaments to His unending grace and love. Amen!
