Why chasing your dream is important

Dear beloved congregation,

Today, the message the Lord has for us is one that we may have heard before, but it is imperative that we take it to heart. There are crucial questions that arise when it comes to the topic of dreams and aspirations. Are people neglectful and indifferent toward their dreams? Does it mean that God is not interested in certain individuals’ dreams? Today, we shall delve into these inquiries and uncover three key points every dream chaser must grasp.

First and foremost, it is vital to understand your dreams. Unfortunately, not everyone comprehends the significance of their visions. Many fail to recognize the inherent value they possess. Consequently, they squander precious time unaware of their purpose. Faith has waned for some, as they now prioritize societal norms over their dreams. Even among the educated, there is often a disconnect between their knowledge and their way of life. However, the day you truly acknowledge your Creator is the day your dreams receive validation.

Secondly, always press forward in pursuit of your dreams. Progress becomes arduous if one remains idle, choosing slumber over action. Surround yourself with individuals who possess an extraordinary mindset, individuals who understand that relying on others instead of actively chasing their own dreams and aspirations is unacceptable. Remember this: “If you waste time, be assured that someone else will step in to take your place.” Therefore, recognize the urgency of the present moment and diligently pursue what is right. It is never too late to chase your dreams, especially in the vigor of youth!

Lastly, refuse to allow others to hide your dreams. Consider the story of Joseph. His own father sought to undermine his dreams through fear, while a seductive woman attempted to taint his dreams with immorality. Did Joseph succumb to these pressures? Absolutely not! He remained resolute in doing what was right until the very end. Remember, “Do not disclose your dreams to those with feeble minds.”

The scripture in 2 Corinthians 9:8 reveals to us that God has the power to multiply our meager efforts, but He expects us to take the first step.

In conclusion, let us reflect on the visions we have received in the past and commence our journey toward their realization. It is a sin to depart from this world unfulfilled, leaving our dreams unchased. Seize the present moment, and with all the strength within you, pursue your dreams. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you embark on this transformative path. Amen.
