Divine help from above
Texts: 2 Chronicles 20:12
There is a realm of help that no human system can access.
There are situations in life where connection fails, money fails, strength fails, intelligence fails, but God never fails.
Divine help is not an alternative, it is the ultimate. Many people only look up when all else has failed, but prayer giants start from above, not from below.
Psalm 60:11
“Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.”
This means:
Human help has limits. Divine help has no boundaries. Here are significant situations and points to note:
- Jehoshaphat: The power of helplessness before God. 2 Chronicles 20:12.
Jehoshaphat did not pretend strength.
He did not rely on strategy.
He admitted three things:
No power
No plan
No alternativeBut he had direction, his eyes were on God.
Many believers delay help because they still trust their own ability. Psalm 46:1.
Present help means:
Not delayed
Not absent
Not seasonal - Divine help responds to direction, not emotion.
It is not your tears that moves God, it is where you look when you cry. Psalm 34:5.
Many cry, but not many look up. - Peter: The mystery of instant help. Matthew 14:30–31.
“Lord, save me!” … and immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand. One sentence prayer.
No grammar.
No long fasting. But it came from:
Total surrender
Recognition of the only source. When dependence is complete, response is immediate.
- Help from above overrides natural protocols.
When God steps in, systems bow.Esther 5:2
Esther appeared before the king uninvited, against the law, but she obtained favour.Daniel 3:24–25
The fire did not burn them.Exodus 14:21–22
The Red Sea divided.Divine help does not follow human rules—it rewrites them.
- The woman who had no human help.Mark 5:25–29 (Woman with the issue of blood)
Spent all she had
Got worse
No medical solutionBut one touch activated heaven.
When man finishes, God begins
In conclusion:
- Help is provoked by dependence on God. Hebrews 4:16.
Help is not for the strong, it is for those who come. - God steps in when man steps aside. 2 Corinthians 12:9.
Your weakness is not your disadvantage, it is your access point. - Divine help locates the helpless, not the proud. James 4:6.
- Help can come suddenly.
Isaiah 30:19.
Psalm 102:13.
One moment of divine help can cancel years of struggle.
Prayer Points:
Every help I have trusted in that is not from You, disconnect me now in Jesus’ name.
Lord, in every area where I have reached my limit, let Your help begin.
O God, arise and send me help from Zion .Psalm 20:2.
In battles beyond my strength, fight for me as You fought for Jehoshaphat.
Let help locate me where men have forgotten me.
Every delayed help in my life, manifest now by fire!
I receive help that money cannot buy!
I receive help that connections cannot give!
I receive help that protocols cannot stop!
From today, I will not struggle where grace is available!
My life will announce divine intervention! In Jesus Christ mighty name.
