Introduction

Why many fall after they rise

Beloved, rising is not the problem, remaining is.
Many people are lifted by God but destroyed by pride.
They forget who lifted them.
Pride turns promotion into a trap.

Humility is not weakness; it is wisdom in posture.
God never removes greatness, He removes proud carriers of greatness.

Here are important points to note:

1. Humility Is God’s Requirement For Honour
   Proverbs 18:12.
   Honour does not come first; humility does.
   God does not lift those who exalt themselves. He lifts those who make room for Him.
   James 4:6 “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
   No matter your calling, if God resists you, you cannot succeed.
2. Jesus — The King Who Walked In Humility
   Philippians 2:5–11.
   Jesus was equal with God yet He ⁠chose to be humble. He served and obeyed the will of the Lord.

   As a reward for His humility: “God highly exalted Him…”

   The depth of your humility determines the height of your elevation.

3. Humility Is Recognized In Conduct, Not Words
   Micah 6:8.
   Humility shows in:
   •⁠ ⁠How you treat people below you
   •⁠ ⁠How you respond to correction
   •⁠ ⁠How you honour authority
   •⁠ ⁠How you handle success
   •⁠ ⁠True humility does not announce itself.
   •⁠ ⁠It reveals itself in behaviour

4. Pride Removes Kings From Thrones
   Daniel 4:30–37
   Nebuchadnezzar said: “Is not this great Babylon that I have built…?”
   One sentence of pride cost him years of madness.
   Pride can undo decades of achievement in a moment.
   
5. Humility Attracts Favour And Trust
   Luke 14:7–11.
   When you choose the lower seat:
   •⁠ ⁠God promotes you
   •⁠ ⁠Men trust you
   •⁠ ⁠Favour finds you
   •⁠ ⁠Kings trust humble people because they are safe.

6. Walk In Humility Daily
   1 Peter 5:5–6.

   Keys to walking in humility:
   •⁠ ⁠Acknowledge God in all things
   •⁠ ⁠Give honour freely
   •⁠ ⁠Accept correction
   •⁠ ⁠Serve without seeking applause
   •⁠ ⁠Stay grateful
   •⁠ ⁠Humility is a lifestyle, not an event.

Prophetic Ministration & Declarations

• ⁠Father, remove every seed of pride in me.
• I receive a humble heart.
• I will not fall after I rise.
• I walk in wisdom and meekness
• I attract honour by humility.
• ⁠I am safe for elevation.
• I will sit with kings and remain there.
